Experience the beautiful southern part of the Auvergne, enjoy a wonderful stay in one of our comfortable holiday home, and make some fabulous tours around the area. Our location is at the departmental borders of Puy de Dome and Loire. The Haute-Loire region is a 5–minute drive, so we are an excellent base for exploring three departments. Enjoy the beautiful natural environment, the windy but well-maintained roads, and the panoramic views. You will drive over a mountain pass, then through a forest, then along a river; the valley offers a hugely varied landscape at different heights!
Motorbikes can be stored in a locked garage.
There is enough room to leave your things behind.
If you would like to rent a motorbike for a day, we are happy to help or you can check:
Canoë Nature Loisirs:
The area offers some marvellous canoeing excursions, for example at Bas-en-Basset. They organise excursions of 9, 14 and 22 km.

The Velorail is a trolley specially designed for cycling on a railway track. A trolley can seat multiple people. The specially developed pedals make it easy to climb the hills (a railway incline is seldom more than 2%). You can try the La Vernelle tour of 1 hour and 15 min., or the La Trappeurs tour which takes 2 hours. It is important to make reservations in advance as the ‘train’ departs at scheduled times.

Moulin des Massons:
Explore Moulin des Massons, located in the Rhône-Alpes region in Livradois Forez Regional Nature Park in Saint Bonnet le Courreau (Loire), at the foot of the Vizézy valley. Moulin des Massons has 16th-century buildings, an oil mill, and a sawmill. Experience local traditions. You can watch the production of roasted rapeseed oil, walnut oil or hazelnut oil.

Moulin Richard de Bas:
Near Ambert in the beautiful Laga valley, surrounded by greenery, is the Moulin Richard de Bas, the last ‘paper mill’ of the Auvergne.
Moulin Richard de Bas is still active today and produces approximately 200 sheets of paper a day, used by publishers, artists and other lovers of fine paper. A guided tour takes you to the rustic house of the last Master paper-maker who lived at Moulin Richard de Bas and you also hear the story about paper, which was invented in China more than 2000 years ago.
